This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is a red-on-red example that was produced on November 22, 1966, and initially delivered to Beach City Chevrolet in Long Beach, California. A refurbishment was completed under prior ownership, and the car was honored with Top Flight awards in 2023 and 2024. Power is provided by a 327ci V8 that was overbored during the refurbishment and is backed by a four-speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with a white soft top, 15″ Rally wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a cabin heater, an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights.
The fiberglass body left the factory finished in Rally Red (974) and was repainted under prior ownership. The car has a white soft top, retractable headlights, fender vents, and dual exhaust tips. The split chrome bumpers and headlight motor switch were replaced and the washer pump was repaired following the seller’s acquisition. Paint blemishes are noted.
The 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with Nexen N’Priz AH5 tires. Work performed prior to the seller’s acquisition is said to include rebuilding the brake master cylinder and replacing the calipers, rotors, and pads as well as the ball joints and suspension bushings.
The bucket seats are trimmed in red vinyl, and interior work under current ownership involved replacing hardware for the seats along with the door panels and carpets in addition to rebuilding the analog clock. Appointments include a heater, a vertical push-button AM/FM radio, and lap belts.
