This 1971 Chevrolet C10 Custom Stepside pickup was purchased by the seller in 1997 and modified and refurbished between 2010 and 2015. Work included fitting the 454ci V8 and the 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, installing a suspension lowering kit, tubbing the rear wheel wells, repainting the exterior gray, and refreshing the interior. This 1971 Chevrolet C10 Custom Stepside pickup was purchased by the seller in 1997 and modified and refurbished between 2010 and 2015. Work included fitting the 454ci V8 and the 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, installing a suspension lowering kit, tubbing the rear wheel wells, repainting the exterior gray, and refreshing the interior. Additional equipment includes 15″ wheels, CPP shocks and lowering springs, a rear roll pan, a cowl-induction hood, a wood bed floor, Auto Meter gauges, and a Vintage Air climate control system.
Body-color 15″ wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson tires. The truck is equipped with suspension lowering kit, CPP shocks and lowering springs, a rear axle C-notch, and tubbed rear wheel wells, according to the seller.
The cab features outboard bucket seats and a folding middle seat that were reupholstered in black vinyl during the refurbishment, at which time the carpets were also replaced. Appointments include a Vintage Air climate control system, a Sony stereo, and wind-up windows.
The replacement steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit steering column and sits ahead of Auto Meter gauges. The digital odometer shows 4,200 miles.
The 454ci V8 was installed in 2010, at which time a Painless wiring harness was fitted and the fuel tank was relocated to beneath the bed.
