his 1983 Chevrolet K10 Silverado 4×4 Stepside pickup was initially sold at Harbor Chevrolet of Long Beach, California, and remained registered in the state with the original owner through 2024. It was refinished in black before the seller’s 2024 acquisition, after which the carpets were replaced and the bench seat was reupholstered in gray cloth. Powered by a 5.7-liter V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential, the truck is equipped with front disc brakes, 15″ five-spoke alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, a Kenwood cassette stereo, and dual fuel tanks.
Finished from the factory in Midnight Black (19), the truck was reportedly repainted under previous ownership. Exterior details include a Stepside bed with a wood plank floor in addition to chrome bumpers, quad headlights, a sliding rear window, and a tow ball. Blemishes in the finish are shown in the gallery below.
The 15″ five-spoke alloy wheels were mounted with 31×10.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires in preparation for the sale. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The bench seat was reupholstered in gray cloth with vinyl sides and the color-coordinated carpeting was replaced to replicate the factory specifications under current ownership. Appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, and a Kenwood cassette stereo.
The two-spoke tilting steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. A June 1993 entry on the Carfax report notes a potential odometer rollover. The fuel and temperature gauges were repaired in preparation for the sale.
